Mercredi (French for Wednesday)..freezing cold, it's been snow showers outside for the past few hours. Very lazy to be out and about in fact I was even considering to stay in bed all day snuggle up in my blanky. hahahaha
But no, that just didn't happen, don't worry pepz! My meilleur amis a vie (French for best friend for life a.k.a bffl) rang up and suggested that they wanna came over and bring their own dvd, have fun and lotsa laughter and talking, moaning, rants and so on and so forth..we also invited the others to join us, like they said the more the merrier. *giggles*
So it's official, that week ladies night gonna be a night in at my place watching lotsa movies and going crazy plus plus plus lots of girls favorite conversations topics - boys!!! yeayyy!!! hahahahaha
I was so excited that I jumped out of bed, took my long hot bath then right after getting ready I ran downstairs to arrange for everything that we might possibly need for that night in (*grin*). Well, it's not actually a night in though 'coz things started pretty early but none the less, it made moi so happy and excited even more.
As expected we did have some heavy conversation about "guys" and other stuff relating closely to it (*giggles*) and they did brought their own dvd plus plus plus we also debated about fashions and current events. weeeeeeeeeeeeeee
I can tell you there were lots and lots of movies that we needed to cast a vote on which movie to watch first and the next and on and on 'til everyone got really sleepy (didn't even know who sleep last). hahahahaha
Premiere (First) we watched the movie "how to loose a guy in 10 days". This movie is cheekily romantic and funny too. We had a good mixture of laughter and cry. Love it and so did the others. Well I know this 'cos some of the girls wanted to watch it all over again including moi (French for me, I think). hahahahaha
Deuxieme (Second) was "my best friend's girl". It's a good movie too plus plus plus it's romantically hilarious. I don't know if any guys would go to that extent or even the kind of trouble just to woo a girl of his dream. Can't imagine how the guys in the real life will react if they're put in that kind of problems and situations. Leave me wandering all night..hurmmmmm
Then troisieme (Third), it's time for a Malay movie titled "sepi". At the prologue I didn't quite get it but as it gets to the middle of it, only then i started to understand what's it all about. There were few funny parts especially when it's Afdhlin Shauki's part (did I spell his name correctly? sorry if I miss spell). This movie is alright, sad but I especially love all the soundtracks from this movies. It's very slow mellow and touched any hearts easily, well at least my heart melt. hahahahaha
Quatrieme (Fourth) was "sex and the city". I must say I like the television's sequels even better. I'm not saying that it wasn't okay, It is a good movie to watch especially the girlfriends bonding thingy. It's a good girls movie. I wished I could be that free, not in the sex sense though what I meant to say is free in the sense of freedom to live your life as you want it and do what you pleases anytime, anywhere with your best set of girlfriends. (*dreaming away*) hahahaha
"The house bunny" was up cinquieme (Fifth). This movie is actually more to comedy and facts of life. Like it especially the soundtracks. It's actually hilarious as I remembered that I laugh and laugh 'til it get almost to the end where it get dramatically sad yet funny. *giggles*
Sixieme (Sixth) on the list was "love" an Indonesian movie. It's another version of the Malaysian movie "cinta". Well actually I don't know who released the movie first so if there's a mistake I do apologize. It's a sad story. A story about how love evolves and the circle of life. I enjoyed it!
Septieme (Seventh) we watched "because I said so.." This movie is all about how a mother wants what best for her daughters. It's a comedie romantique (romantic comedy). I love it!!! Just love to see in real life guys actually able to swept you off your feet and make you feel like your floating and nothing else matter but love. How I wish it's no fairy tales. (con't dreaming again!) haahaahaaaaa
Up next on the huitieme (Eighth) was "the devil wear prada". Love this movie. Watch it many times and I never get bored and will not miss a scene (*grin*). It'll be pretty interesting to see anybody that I know engage in that kind of profession, hectic schedules but fashionably cool.
"maid of honor" was next the neuvieme (Ninth) in line. I love this movie, too. It's a romantic and partially funny movie. Like how the story went, very cliche. The dixieme (Tenth) was "enchanted". Oh I love this one. This is a very romantically hilarious musical movie. Simply loving it!
There you have it all dix (Ten) movies and chit-chatting, laughter in between, all in un (one) night in. Me and the other girls just can't wait for another girls' night in and we all agreed that the next time will be having it at one of the other girls shack and the rotation will go on as long as there's a girls' night in plan. Great!!! Can't wait for the next one.. *cheeky grin*
Before I'm off here is something for everyone especially myself.. "Never give up, never give in and when the upper hand is ours, may we have the ability to handle the win with dignity that we absorbed the loss..wit is educated insolence and remember..two wrongs don't make a right but but but they make a good excuse" hahahahaha
