(Coincidentally this year if God's Willing, I'll be celebrating my 25th birthday, too.. weeeee *grin*. It's such an amazing & wonderful feeling to be rejoicing my 25 years of life in the same year as my beloved country's celebrating its 25th anniversary of Independence) ;p

I like to apologize for the delayed in posting these entry which was supposed to be done yesterday after the event (why am I apologizing? it's my blog I can scribble anything anytime I wishes..duhhh!!!) *giggles*. Although I was only one of the spectators at the celebration yesterday but later on the day, there're lotsa events taking place. So I didn't got the chance to do some blogging, just didn't have the will and idea to scribble entries here.
Yesterday the event was started around 9am & lasted for about 3-4 hours. I can tell you the weather was very sunny and very hot indeed. But I'm especially proud of those who took part in the field performances and those who joined the march past. They put on a spectacular show despite of the hot temperature.
The nations were especially proud of HRH PSPAIPA Sarah who was one of those who participated in the march past. She just joined the UBD Military Cadets few days before the big day yesterday. And not forgetting the consort of HRH Princess Hajjah Majeedah Nurul Bulqiah, YAM PA Abdul Khalil who was also involved in the march past. *Clap Clap for everyone*

The 25th silver jubilee National day anniversary celebration was started on the evening before the big day itself with the mass Maghrib and Isya' prayer where His Majesty with other members of the royal family consented to join his subjects in the congregation. The events were held nationwide at all mosques and suraus for the country's continued prosperity with the focal point being at the Sir Omar Ali Saifuddien mosques in the capital.
